Ya gotta love the old race programs . What a great snapshot of the times . You must have an exceptional collection of auto racing memoribilia if what you have already displayed here is any indication .I notice in one of the Jerry Lee posts you mention a 1953 Pikes Peak Speedway program . I for one would sure like to see that posted here . There is surprisingly little in the way of information and photos regarding the Southern Colorado stock car tracks . It seems no one cared enough to keep the type of archives that the Denver tracks have .
Thankfully you have consented to share them with us .

This is a pretty neat program with the rare Charlie Codner interview in it. Thanks for posting it.

I submitted a story on the history of Englewood Speedway for the ARM site, so stay tuned for that in the near future.

Jerry, you are welcome! And, I look forward to reading your article. I was beginning to wonder if there were any Englewood Speedway fans out there.
Has anyone heard from Rick lately? It has been two weeks now since he lasted signed on to this ARM site. I hope everything is okay with him. ~VB

Hey Buzz!

Yeah, I haven't heard from Rick in awhile either, but I know he's a busy guy, and I hope everything's okay with him. The Englewood article will be pretty cool.

My Dad has been trying to post some pictures here lately, but they keep showing up as a little red X when he previews it. He's downsized the pic many times (even down to a postage stamp size to see if it works), but to no avail so far. Buzz, is there a trick you can share with us on this board on what he might need to do???

Yeah, guys, I'm here.

Finally.

If you think nobody has heard from me lately...just call the good folks over at O'MEARA COLLISION CENTER! I Think They Heard from me so many times today, They're ready to send the National Guard Troops after me!!! (humor) and all a BIG misunderstanding

Anyway...the Englewood Speedway article by Jerry Lee is well underway and SHOULD be seen here at wwww.autoracingmemories.com VERY SOON!

Thanks All!

Rick.

Jerry-- Here's a couple of things that may be giving your Dad trouble.
First, when he 'Selects image file to attach,' make sure he 'Browses' to the correct path of where the photo (.jpg) is actually located.
Second, the photo size in 'pixels' can be no larger than 640-pixels in width or length.
I use the HP camera software on my computer (HP Photosmart Premier) in the 'edit mode': select the 'Resize' button; select 'Custom'; select 'Pixels'; type in '640' for the largest value >640; and then select 'Accept'. Simple, huh?
NOTE: There are many types of photo software out there and the directions for each will vary. ~VB
