This is the present condition on number 5, the handy work of Leroy Byers, restored to it's original beginnings.
Many consider Lloyd Axel's number 5 the most beautiful of all post WWII Kurtis Kraft midgets. The KK midget came in two forms, built chassis and kit.
The really big honor was when GMP produced a limited number of the Lloyd Axel, Foster Auto Supply number 5 in die cast form. Of which I have one.
