Nick LoSasso began his racing career driving this car at Colorados Lakeside Speedway. This photo however, was taken in the pits at Englewood Speedway. I was given the privaledge of lettering this great looking car. Nicks interests steered him towards sprint cars, and he became an outstanding driver of the 700 horse power slip and slides. Nicks brothers ended up following in his footsteps and driving their own sprinters.
After I quit racing, Nick gave me the opportunity to "pack the track" at Colorado National Speedway. WOW...those guys are nuts. All that power in a 1200 pound car....lets see, was that mud I sat in or.....Anyway, I was putting around the track, staying high as I was directed. I was just entering the south turn when another car that was traveling at a much, much faster speed, dived into the corner underneath me and was pitched to create a wall of mud that buried my tear offs. All I could do was smear the mud and dive into the pits. As it turned out, It was Nick, driving his brother Terrys car that was having all the fun of burying me in the mud. Good Times.
