Working on a detailed chronology of major open wheel (big car, sprint) events in North America, circa 1909-60, working title "Dirt, Brick & Boards."

"Major" defined by the quality of competition, focusing on AAA (& USAC) and IMCA stars of the era.

In other words, pretty much everyone of note from Barney Oldfield/Bob Burman/Ralph De Palma to A.J. Foyt/Jim Hurtubise/Eddie Sachs.

Always looking to make contact with others having similar interests and to share research notes.
