I am new to this web site. My name is Tom. I grew up at Lakside. My mom raced in the Powder Puff starting in 1970. I made many friends while I was there. I worked on the infield crew at Lakeside in 1983. Before that I was on Larry Meyer's pit crew. I raced in a kiddie car race in 1969 and was a trophy boy in the 1970"s. Ronnie Lee taught me how to rebuild my first engine when I was 10 years old. Ron Dike tahght me a lot about working on cars when he was helping my mom while she was racing. It is great to see an place that brings stuff about the memories in my past
