Ody Fellows #3 Jalopy at Lakeside Speedway

In this photo, taken at Colorados Lakeside Speedway, Ody Fellows appears to be taking a Polish Victory lap....UHH ER...Okay, maybe he spun out. This photograph is from the 50's. Looks like a pretty good crowd. I cannot identify the other cars, but if you can, post your thoughts.

Here is another shot of the same group after the dust settled. This is from several old photos that I saved. I just do not remember from where, however it may have a friend of mine who raced at Englewood, Junior Boyes. Jumior drove 180x '35 Ford, either before or after Harry Lofgren had it as 18.


#3 Ody Fellows - #54 unknown - #36 Fritz Wilson. In superstroke's photo the #46 and #22 appearing in post #1 must have been pulled to the infield.

These Ody Fellows photos of the old days at Lakeside Speedway are from the CARC's first year there, 1952. As you might have guessed, at least according to the program, #54 is Joe James. #22 is Pete Pusede, and #46 could have been Sonny Jones although he was also listed in the #55 which was his number for a few years. Here's a program photo of Ody (in the helmet) and a different #3 from 1952, but with the same paint scheme. The program described it as purple and white.
