On Board At Last!

Hello, everybody! This is Paul Bredenberg, late of Colorado Racing Memories and proud member of Colorado Auto Racing Club. I think of myself as its current historian. I certainly follow the old times better than I raced! Love building model cars of the old Lakeside racers and giving them to the guys or the families of those who raced back then. I still own a car, the #88 driven by Scott Bremkamp, in the Club. Love the Modified Coupe class and the cars as they evolved through the years. If you are, or are related to, an old Lakeside driver, owner, or crew man, I'd love to hear from you. We could trade pictures and stories. I have quite a collection now and want to expand it. My racing hero was Sammy Sauer, and my other favorites include (but are not limited to) Gene Corley, the Palmer brothers, Jack Graham, Blu Plemons, Tedo Spano, and Billy Vaughan. Recent favorites are Rich Bubak, Bob Land, Bruce Rhoades, and well, pretty much all the guys racing in the CARC today.

I second that, welcome aboard Paul. Paul is indeed the current CARC historian and has tons of old Lakeside Speedway photos. Looking forward to it. BP
