View Full Version : Carlos Pardo in Nascar Mexico Crash

In the NASCAR MEXICO race in Pueblo, Carlos Pardo was on the 97th lap when he was nudged from behind, causing him to spin out and crash into the wall at the pit lane entrance at an estimated 120 mph. He was taken to the hospital by helicopter where he died 45 minutes later.

Pardo was later awarded the victory as the race was called due to a time limit after the accident. He was in the lead at the time of the crash.

That was a really tragic crash, clearly that wall was not in a good location and they will need to alter that track to make it more safe to race.

Thanks for the info Eric, yeah that was an accident waiting to happen.That post really doesn't fit ARM protocol,but I thought others might want to see it.
