Hello to all of you racing fans!! I've visited this site in the past but decided it was time to register so that I can show honor to my brother Rick. He lived, breathed, bled and sweat racing from the time he was about 18 months old to the day he died. His passion for the sport will live forever in my heart. I am all that is left of our immediate family now but when I was little, we NEVER missed going to Lakeside for the midget races. Eddie Jackson was my total hero. I was a race nut almost as much as Rick was until life took me in other directions. Anyway, just wanted to say "hey" for now. I've got a lot of planning and work to do for Rick's Service. God Bless, Linda

Welcome Linda, We are glad to have you join us. We all lost a great friend in Rick, we will miss his contributions to this site & bigwest also. I will miss my BS sesions with Rick, reliving the past, be it at Lakeside or just racing in general. I hope that he has found peace.
R.I.P Rick

Rick was such a special guy. He was my inspiration for starting this website in the first place and I give you my word we will keep in going full steam ahead in Rick's honor.

Hi Linda,
It is nice to have another lady on here. I use my husband's 'name' but why not? It was my pay check that helped build #29 and she has a 'mouse' painted on her deck lid for me. I told Chris the car looked like a huge chunk of cheddar cheese, so I got a mouse from our first sign painter and it carried on from there.

I have really learned a lot from the men on this sight. They can come up with the best subjects to talk about. Seems there was always a good woman in the back ground of most of their stories.

Again, let me tell you how much I enjoyed the drive to and from Chyenne with Rick three years ago. I know he was a loving brother, just by his tone in the conversations we had. I will miss him, too.

I want to meet you and give you a hug. I've overheard that "Miss Peggy" does not DO hand shakes, only hugs.

All my love to you,
