This is the ex Bob Olds, Sam Sauer LTC (Leonard Thompson Caruthers) chassis, with VW power. This is the car Olds won the owner points in, and Sauer finished 2nd in driver points, in 1977. Joe Vallano bought it, painted it, only ran it a couple of races in 1978, here's Vallano at Englewood Speedway in 1978
