Hello my name is Blake Smith Jr. I am only 24 years old so my racing stories don't date back too far, but I love to hear stories and see pictures.

My grandfather is Bill Smith. If anyone knows him or has any stories about him I would love to hear them. I will try and post some pictures that he has from Englwood Speedway in the 50's.

I don't have any stories about him, but I did notice Bill Smith listed as driver for the #10 Stocker in the 1961 Englewood Speedway program posted here under 'Race Tracks'. Melvin Malet is listed as owner.

Yes sir that would be him. I believe it was white with red numbers.

I think I might have found a pic of you grandfather. Not only does Bill Smith pop up on driver listings,
but I’ve seen his name listed under track officials at times as well. This is from a 1970 Englewood Speedway program thanks to Irwin Fogel. I hope this is him! –Jerry Lee
