This Jim Malloy Red Rooster Roadster photo was originally posted at the old ARM site by the late Rick Wasilko. Does anyone have a color photo of this great looking race car along with some history about it? ~VB

It was red and white. I didin't follow the newer that you uploaded that closely. I know it became the pattern for a lot of the super-mods that Jerry built.
Malloy brothers first 5 car is pictured here. This car was a part of the "Jet Coupe" division that CARC ran at Lakeside Speedway in the 60's. And what a drawing card it was.
If my thinker is working correctly, myself, my wife, and Mr Ivan Rosenberg were sitting on the front chute at Lakeside in 1963 after the regular season, CARC had "Run what you brung" race meets, Jim turned a 12:92. The car was tried out in to different configurations, tri-power and fuel injection.

There was another post with a photo of the "Red Rooster" ~ I have had a difficult time finding it. So I'll post some more photos in this thread.
#1, Jim Malloy a happy winner and champion, this photo is from Jim's CAMRA days in the 60's. It was either '64 or '65 that it was reported that Jim won 52 of 54 races.
#2, is a G. Vantreight photo. One Jim's Canada wins.
#3, the name on the back of this photo is Al Smith, does that mean anything to our ARM members? This is Jim probably winning another race at a track outside of Colorado.
#4, is Billy Foster in a Malloy built super modified, Jerry Malloy is standing behind the car.
