From the Odie Fellows collection, Odie is somewhere in this photo, but I cannot find him. Anyway, it is a great shot of Colorados Lakeside Speedways North corner. It looks like there was a good crowd on this night, probably from the late 50's.

Pretty sure that's from 1952, but I'll have to wait 'till I get back from Pleasanton to dig out my '52 program to I.D. the cars/drivers unless someone else does first. I don't see Ody either. Love those old photos from the fifties!

Being far from a CARC expert, here's what I have from my dad's 1954 Lakeside Speedway program. #23 driver listed-Bud Smith-owner:W.Fagerstone-sponsor: Chic'n Box, #68 driver listed -Al Duffy, owner: Dale Huddle, sponsor: Skelly Oil Co. #70 driver listed-Neal Lane, owner:Neal Lane, no sponsor listed. If the car facing the camera is #50 (hard for me to tell) #50 driver listed- Delmar Pachello, owner: Delmar Pachello, no sponsor listed. Again this is from a 1954 program, the oldest coupe program in my collection.

OK, I"m back, and dug out my 1952 program that lists #70 as Art Peterson, #68 Jim Arnett, if the next car is #90, that's Walt Ciari who was with the CARC for a while, and #23 was probably Gus DeRenzy. I have a program write-up on him somewhere. Wonder if maybe Odie had gotten a ride in one of those?
