Ody Fellows posing in #55 Roger Mauro Midget

From the Ody Fellows collection, here is a shot of Ody posing in Roger Mauros #55 midget. Because the fence here looks very familiar, I believe this photo was shot at Colorados Lakeside Speedway. Mitch, I am not schooled on these midgets, so PLEASE, fill in the gaps...Midgetarian.

Wellllll, since you asked....... Ody drove this car in 1970, and part of 1971 when he was replaced by Don Wilson for the balance of the 1971 season. This car was the first midget Roger Mauro owned, a Kurtis copy from someone in Wisconsin. Ody finished 7th in RMMRA points in 1970. Here's another shot of Ody during the 1970 season, seems to me this car was orange and white with black trim. Left to right, Jack Kline long time Mauro employee and midget supporter, Chuck Mauro and Roger Mauro, Ody in the "wheel house". Rick, the photo you posted is from early in the 1971 season and at Lakeside.
