Anyone remember a practice track on Morrison Road, it was explained to me (by a family friend in 1957 who ran number 180x at Englewood) that it was used by the racers from Englewood Speedway to check their cars and make adjustments.
It would have been located maybe a mile on the right side of the road before entering Morrison. Some others have said that it was turned into a soft/baseball field.
I have no idea why I even thought of this.

Hmmm that's right near where I live.
I looked at a satellite map of the C-470 and Morrison Road area, with all the changes overs years and since we moved from Metro-Denver in '03 it is really hard to tell.
But what it looks like to me is as you approach C-470 headed toward Morrison, it looks like it may have been at a left hand turn before you go under the C-470 bridge on the right.
Maybe some of the Morrison or Englewood old timers might know.
