Lynn Hunter #141 Englewood Late Model 1967

From the Lynn Hunter collection, this photo, shot at Colorados Englewood Speedway, captures Lynn, holding on to his #141 Super Stock while in pursuit of John Mullins in the #106 Broadway Shamrock SS. Don Braun chases down the leaders in his #1 Chevrolet. So thats where all those 50's era Chevrolets went....! On the back of this photo is the date 2-2-67. Also on the back is the photographers stamp: Ace Photographer, Ted Ostrander, MA. 3-3754.....kool!

Lynn told me that this was his first Super Stock. It looks like it was straight as a pin, and with the chrome wheels....WOW!

Here is another shot taken at Colorados Englewood Speedway in 1967. Lynn (on the right) and Larry Hunter pose for the camera in front of the tracks light control facility (and part time bar). Again, this car was straight. It still has the windshield in place. Check out the Chevy behind Lynns car, with the trunk open. You can see the fuel cell that was used for this particular era....a five gallon gas can! It appears that they bought a really nice gas can though!
