This photo, courtesy of the Lynn Hunter collection, captures Wayne Stallsworth driving the Doenges-Glass Ford #21 Late Model, trying to nose past Lynn Hunter in his #82 Chevelle. The paint job on Lynn's car was probably one of my favorites. Lynn and his brother Larry, produced some of the greatest looking and running cars from this era. The #21 was lettered by Archie "The Stroker" Johnston, and was owned by Frank Caputo. Wayne Stallsworth drove this car when the team won the Midwest Short Track Championship. Lynn's car was lettered by Mike Young. This action took place at Colorados Englewood Speedway. This photo was taken by the team: Bob Brunton and Dale Ross.

I loved that era of Late Model, what cool looking cars, huge tires, low slung with the wheel well's all carved out to fit those tires, awesome.

Rick I believe that Wayne's car was #27, also I thing that this is the car that they took the short track national championship with as the following year it caried the #1. I may be mistaken but I think that is the car.
