Another great shot from the Lynn Hunter collection. Taken at Colorados Englewood Speedway, year unknown, but if I was to guess, I'd say it was the mid 70's. This car was no exception to the Hunter Brothers commitment to exceptional race car fabrication. And the paint...WOW! Check out the lace job. Lynn or Larry stole their Mom's best lacey table cloth to produce it I'LL BET. Airbrushed effects to the verigated gold leaf lettering...airbrushed panels applied to the roof, hood and decklid...what a beauty. It looks like they spent some cash on the chassis components as well. You did not see too many Thunderbolts being used as stock cars either.

Behind Lynns beauty, Dale Flemings #88 Mopar sits idle as Dale (in the blue shirt) shoots the breeze with the guys.

That's a good looking race car! That time frame was the golden era for Denver area late models.

Hey Mitch. I am trying to get in touch with Eric. I have a movie shot at Englewood in the 50's, but I do not know how to upload. I (think) I have left private messages for Eric, but I get no reply. Could you contact him for me and tell him to call me at 303-981-2498 or 303-450-6774, Please.

Thanks
Rick Losh
