This is one cool lookin' sprinter (supermodified?)! Does anyone have any history on it? ~VB

Off the top of my head.....This was one of 2 or 3 "Roadsters" built by Don "The Prince of Darkness" Brown. Also known as the "Mechanical Rabbit", these were some of the only roadster sprint cars that worked well on dirt and asphalt. Built in the late 1960's, Greg Weld owned one of these cars, and I think Joe Saldana won the Knoxville Nationals in this one you have posted here. I'll dig up more info and pictures, and post them later, it is a beautiful race car.
