Has anyone been to this place? It looks pretty cool.

From their website...

The Museum boasts a collection of Race Cars from the turn of the century, to the current Indy Racing League (IRL) series Race Cars. Mr. Rachanski was owner of Team Blue Print, an IRL team with the likes of drivers as Jimmy Kite, Sam Schmidt and Johnny Parsons Jr., just to name a few. Two of the IRL cars are in the museum on display, along with the Aurora V8 engines that powered the Race Cars.

Also on display are model aircraft, depicting several different eras of aeronautical history. Ed Rachanski Sr. was a Flight Engineer on the C-119 flying Boxcars during the Korean era. There is a display case encapsulating some of his actual gear and survival equipment, used during his Honorable term in the United States military.

Hey Webby, that Museum is right next to Las Vegas. It might be worth a side trip and maybe bring back some pics that they don't have on their site.~Olen :racing:

Thanks, Webby! I've been to Vegas more times than I can count. And, we always hang out in Henderson, NV at our friend's Auto Auction / Salvage Yard. But, I've never heard or been to this Museum. ~VB

If you're in Henderson, Nevada, give Pat Petrie a shout. He lives out there!:callme:

Great photos, both categories. I recall that we used to refer to the C-119 as "30,000 rivets flying in loose formation."

Hey Olen! And it took 4,360 CID and 3,650 HP per engine to keep all those rivets going the same direction. ~VB

I only have to drive about 5-miles down the street to see it at the Hill AFB, UT Museum. ~VB
