Thanks Buzz, glad to see those cars back on this site. Who was it who had the #73, the third car painted like these two?

I myself and Jerry Hooper co owned the #73, I bought it from Jimmy Moore, and Jerry and I shared ownership, it was driven in the A tropydash first night out by George munster Green, and then was driven by Bobby Stephens of englewood speedways number 18 or stevens not sure of the spelling, Jerry Hooper also drove it at Cheyenne and got a 3rd place in the fast heat one night and never drove the car before that or after that again. it was previously the number 93 named Tired Iron that ole Lunchmeat first rode the north wall from turn three to turn four in, he later done the samme in another car 93 some years later. There is a picture of his first wall ride out there some where, my brother Gary used to have one and we posted it with he colorado racing memories site four or five years ago. Schafer1

p.o. box 2217 Page Az 86040 You're welcome! Your photos and stories were too good to left untold / un-published. As far as getting your stuff back, please contact nitro4dave via a PM and see what he can do for you. ~VB
as a liason for the family, they are having a very difficult time dealing with all of this, as could be understood. rick and i had been friends since grade school. the family has made several requests which i will try to help with and explain...they ask you do not go by the house, i have been asked to gather as much of the meomoribialia as possible and get it back to the rightful owners, this will be a large undertaking and to insure that everyone who had items gets as much (hopefully all) their items back i will gather as much as possible in the small time frame i have access to house.(an immediate family member must be there along with deputy from the county, this is why it is important no one else is present to ask questions and slow the process down!) i realize most of these items are irreplaceable memories, so bear with me so i can sort thru and get it back to the proper owners i'm not going to have an open house that you just grab what ever you feel like.
