:checker:Donnie: Yeah, I think Bruce Rhoades has one. I'll see what I can do to get it on.

Donnie: I found this one. It's #42 roaring out of Lakeside's turn 4; looks like from the 1980's. Is this the one you were looking for?

I believe that one he is looking for is the black 60 Coupe Duck tailed bodied Malloy that was owned by Mark Bilik and driven by Tony, this car was later driven by Don Cambell and Steve Sanelli as the 32 Coupe with body that is on the #7 of Paul's, and then as the#17 that Scott drove and then the 38 M&M car of Coupe Racer. I had a great shot of this car but I believe that it was at Wasilkos.

Bruce, Wasn't that car originally Butch Snow's car with a Mustang body on it?

The 42 car in that picture was owned by Harold Evans. The sponsor was Skyland auto parts , were I worked for abought 4 years. We use to give Tony some stuff like gaskets, Permatex when he needed it. TIM

I spoke to Joe Starr. He said he has a picture of the #60 that Tony drove. He is going to get me a picture. It was a neat car. Brings back great memories. Joe probably won't have it ready until after Christmas but when I get it I'll try to get it posted.

Paul, Dave Burn might have a shot of it, yes Chris it was the 15 that Butch and Kevin Gallo had run, it also was driven by Mike Snow as the #1 & #26 with the wedge body in the late 80's at Lakeside.

I stopped and visited with Tony and Peanut today. They know the car you are looking for, but they needed some time to look for the picture. One photo that they did produce was the Vicky bodied modified with some interesting aerodynamics. The car was quickly percieved to be illegal by the CARC Officials, and Tony was told to remove the air displacers. It is truly one of the most interesting cars from that era. I do not remember seeing it, but I do remember all the hoopla about it. The photo was taken by Stahr Photography, in the northeast corner of Colorados Lakeside Speedway.

Donnie,

My first Lakeside car was Tony's car from 1975. It is a Ford frame 2 springer with a Pinto body. Tony painted it blue and it was #60.

Hope this helps, Jeff

Tony is very special to me, after my accident in Gering Neb. racing with ERA, Tony made me get back into the car that I was driving and that I had sold to Wayne Swanson, if not for that I may have never raced again, I owe my racing career to Tony and I thank him for that and he will always have a special place in my heart.
