hello everyone my name is joe gastineau im the driver/owner of the figure 8 #11 at colorardo national speedway also the 2008 figure 8 rookie of the year. my family has been in racing for years my father is dick gastineau jr. He first started at englewood speedway he drove the 13 figure 8 also known as the purple people 8ter or maybe the teddy bear express. Along with my gradfather (my mothers dad) herbert newlander sponsered alot of people out at englewood speedway he owend newlander radiator. After englewood my father taged up with the legend jim coffey and in the late 1980's drove the 11 fiigure 8 out at colorado for a few years then went back the the 13 out at erie i have two older brothers that also raced at erie and i25 ted gastineau #13 and frank gastineau #10 figure 8 so thats pretty much everything bout me
