My name is James "Fastway" Bancroft of London Ky. I race a 1952 Mercury Monterey Vintage Late Model. we race the car on dirt & asphalt all over Ky. Some of the clubs we have race with VSCRA, PVRC, Illinois Vintage Racing & Tristate Vintage racing.

welcome to the site fastway---I think you'll like this site--lots of vintage racing goin on here--I race with the Colorado Auto Racing Club---and we run pavement modifieds with a vintage look---our rules state no bodies newer than 1939----I was wondering what year bodies your various clubs and tracks consider to be vintage----also, being an old Illonois kid---where do you guys race in Ill.....again' welcome to the site---kevin

Hello James, Welcome to you. Greg Fastway McLaughlin and I have been friends for many years and he speaks very highly of you. Greg drove my wife's car and has wrenched on both of our cars a good bit over the years. I've seen pictures of your Merc and it's really is a cool machine. I hope you enjoy this site and that we all show you some western hospitality.

I have race with cars in there 70's I guess its depends on the club. Are club started out just 48 & under Then we went to 57. I know the NVRA Club Have 5 Classes Of Vintage, You see Ori. race cars to New Chassis with Vintage bodies. There year goes from 1929 To 1970.
