Hi to all my name is Fran and I have been in racing one way or another for long time. We started racing at Beacon Hill the year Del got out of the Navy.
We had a 55 Chev and at that time it was a Late Model. At that time Carl Mishmash owned the track and than Walt Pickard. We built a 66 chevelle, which was on 5 News and boy did that reporter get a ride. I ran the JR Fan Club for quiet a few years. As jobs dried up in Pueblo we moved to Longmont and tried racing on the dirt at CNS and than built a asphat(ms) car to race there. We funded the on our own and did okay but never ran up front. We have a Grand Prix Late Model sitting in the garage right now that needs a few new things to meet the rules but don't have the funds to upgrade. I keep informed about what is going on in racing by belonging to sites like this one as one day we plan on racing again. Both our sons have raced and maybe one day Dad and sons will race together.
