Blu Plemmons recieving yet another trophy driving the #4 modified at Lakeside Speedway, Denver CO. This beautiful modified was owned by Doug Plue. When the CARC (Colorado Automobile Racing Club) decided it would allow V-8's in the modifies, Doug Plue resisted and kept the inline 6 cylinder in his car. The combination of Blu's tenacious driving style and the cars ability to enter the corners quicker than the V-8, proved to be a winner.
