Can you identify this coats person?

Here are some photos of a CARC Officials jacket that was purchased out of Arizona. My friend Dave Dunning found it on E-Bay and had never heard of this gentleman. The lettering on the coat cover says that it belonged to:

Howard Banzhaf Jr.

WOW! What a great find, Rick. I have an original '58 CARC program that I've had since, well, 1958. It does indeed list Howard Banzhaf as Pit Steward, but other than that, I'm not familiar with the name.
