Burt McNeese #12 - Lakeside Speedway 19??

In this shot taken at Colorados Lakeside Speedway, Burt McNeese, in the #12 car prepares to put the hammer down in what appears to be a fast heat.

Many of you out there have heard the name of Ron Avers. Ron has been a fixture in Colorado for decades, known for his elaborate custom paint jobs and his cutting edge lettering and striping. I have stolen a number of Rons lettering ideas through the years.....Sorry Ron, which have helped my reputation as well. As it turns out, Rons Step-Father was Burt McNeese. He has many photos that I have re-photographed and I intend to upload at one time or another.

Can you help to identify the other drivers in this wonderful picture??

The #2 is Tim Sullivan, in his car which is the first car Ade Butler built, this is probably 1956 when several people were trying to bring midget racing back to life in the Denver area, the CARC was sanctioning midgets that year. The last car in the photo is Foster Campbell in his #4 Offy, I think McNeese won a main event that year. I'll try to figure out who the other cars and drivers are, don't know them off the top of my head.
