Warren Rhoades needs your prayers

I just wanted to ask everyone to pray for my Dad, Warren Sr.

Dad is a past President and Vice President of the CARC, he has been a long time member, crew member, car owner and friend to many.

He had a partial lung removal due to cancer nearly 2 years ago, now they have found an inoperable tumor that is attached itself to his aorta, they have biopsied it but do not have the results as of yet. He has not been able to keep any food down for some time now as the tumor will not allow the food to go down, they want to put in a stint but first would like to treat the tumor with radiation and/or chemo.

I just spoke with my Mom and they have Dad scheduled for a pet scan friday morning and and MRI in the afternoon to check to see if the cancer has spread to the brain. Please keep up the prayers.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we put Dad in hospice today, after the past 6 days in University Hospital and they had done all that they could do for him, it was decided that this was the best for all of us, thanks to all for all of the prayers, it means alot to all of us.

I think that we are getting close to the end, I want to thank everyone for all of their prayers and everyone who has come to visit with all of us, this has meant alot to all of us.

Dad has not had anything to eat for quite some time but Melody(my sister) called me last night after I had gone home and said that he had asked for some ice cream and that he had ate it, just like my Dad to want ice cream.
Thanks for all of the support during this tough times and for letting me ramble on.

Last night my Dad lost his battle with cancer. I would like to thank everyone for all of the support, Dad was very special to many people and will be missed by a everyone, I will update with info on his services as We get them.
