Hi,
Hope this page that's just been created tonight by myself - http://www.oldracingcars.info/biography/roscoe-rann/ - and the photos on it are of interest to some of you - all the photos are from the personal collection of Roscoe Rann, the former sprint/midget driver.
Cheers,

Those are awesome, Mitch. That's a great collection of still and action shots rarely found in one persons biography.~Olen

Wow! Mitch, those are some nice midget photos. Thanks for providing that link. My favorite though is the Lakeside Car #53 of Ed Jackson's. I believe that that was actually 1954, but no matter, those guys really knew how to get to the track! Pretty dressy with matching full wheel covers not only on the spare, but on the trailer as well. Note both the #53 and #64 on the truck's side boards. #64 was Bob Haase, they were indeed team cars, painted red and white with silver numbers. Full hood and what appears to be a chromed grill shell on 53. By mid summer when I got to the track, both cars just had top hood and I don't believe the shell was there either. They made enough of an impression on this early teen that when I got home I duplicated them in model form using my crude cardboard and aluminum sheet method. I think the fun part of that was painting them. Like to see a photo of the #64 show up sometime.
