Check out this beautiful sprint car, the last one Hank Henry built, the only 4-bar chassis he ever built. Jimmy Oskie, 5 time CRA spirnt car champ, won the CRA title in 1969 is this car. He still drives it on occasion in vintage events.

Hi Mitch,

Great pictures of a beautiful car. I remember Oskie from Ascot in Southern Cal. Mike Mosley and Bruce Walkup ran there about the same time. One or both were in the service at the time and was able to race quite often.

Wish I had more, all the books and magazines I've kept over the years are the source of most of my posts, glad you like em', I'll keep posting them.

If you haven't seen the car lately you might be in for a shock. Jimmy doesn't take any care of it and it looks very ratty, torn upholstery,dull and badly chipped paint, pitted chrome and overall less than beautiful condition. He usually brings it out for the WRA show at Willow springs in November but couldn't this last year as he was stopping by on his way to another get together. The car still runs and sounds good though
