A good friend of mine has a really neat race car in his garage I thought I’d share with you all. I think it’s pretty hip looking with the big fin on the back.
It’s a replica of a 1956 Jaguar D-Type race car. Here’s what he says about it: “The car was built in England in the mid-1980’s to race in some series that never panned out. Sold to a collector in the U.S., the car has 1500 miles total since it was built. It’s a very good replica. Sir Sterling Moss saw the car and thought it was real until he touched it and found out the front end was fiberglass. Only the turn signals give it away to those in the know. Running the correct 3.8 liter motor with triple Webbers, this car is fantastic at stopping traffic. As well, it simply hauls!” –-Scott Schroeder
