As I said in another thread, Bob Tattersall raced in Australia for 13 straight seasons. His 1st full tour of Australia was in 1960, when he shipped the Tony Saylors Offy down under..
A couple of shots of Tattersall in action.....

Those are great shots Bob, but the CORN on a COB looks a little expensive although the steak sandwich looks OK. I know, it's hard to look past that neat 55. ~Olen :rotfl:

It's 1967 and USAC star Mike McGreevy tries an outside line around Tattersall, during the Australian Speedcar Grand Prix in Sydney.

The cars and drivers before they left California on the boat trip to Australia. McGreevy's #1 car doesn't have all the STP stickers on it as yet. I thought that was pretty car.... except for all those darn stickers...gotta keep those sponsors happy....

Hey dmckim,
That's him alright. Some guys just look like they should be in a certain profession. Tattersall just looked like a midget racer. Although, in this photo he hasn't got his race face on, sitting in the pits at the Sydney showground .......must have been taken after he'd won the Feature Race.

This car remained down under and is totally restored and in New Zealand.

Here's Tattersall at a mid week practice session at the Showground during his 1965/66 tour. The car is the Stroud Offy, that also remained in Australia.

The Stroud Offy is in Australia and looks like this today. We are extremely lucky to have most of Tattersall's car stay here and also have dedicated people who cherish these old cars, find them and restore them.....

Here Tattersall in the Cascio Offy, the one in the video above.

Here it is today, found by Aussie sprintcar racer Bob Blacklaw in Darwin and brought back to life as this superb machine....
