Late 30's early 40's Era

Newspaper clippings came from scrapbook belonging to Bill Barbour. I read thru them and wrote down the names of drivers that were in the articles. The spelling may be wrong on some of the names. because the newspaper never gets anything wrong, misspelled my dad's name on many occasions. Just thought some people on this site might find them interesting. Most clippings are from the late 30's and early 40's. This is my first posting after

If you have photos of Buddy Bertz (carl Bertz), I would be very interested in seeing them. He was my grandfather and I have a pretty extensive collection of his racing photos along with many, many photos of drivers I dont know.

I would be interested in finding more on him.
