looking for any information on the midget in this photo. don't have anything to help you but the driver is my grandpa. i think it could have been owned by joie chitwood but not sure any would be great.:idunno:

What's his name? Where did he race? When did he race? You might also want to try the HAMB and the midget thread over there.

his name was robert mckim drove in ks,ok drove in the 40's and 50's drove for chet wilson duke westerhause and others had a chance to go to indy but chose to close to family. won the very first imca big car race that was held and drove stock cars for ronald rice from abilene ks. need more info let me know thanks.

From Bill Hill's great book, "One Tough Circuit midget racing in America's heartland", 1998. I scanned this page on "Bobby McKim". I'll see if I can come up with anything on that "J4" midget, which is unusual because it, and the car next to it have right hand steering.
