Gday There Mitch,I just want to introduce myself I am Terry, and I too love Vintage Speedway as we all do on this ARM! Firstly I am very proud of my artwork and I very happy you like it and you want to see more thank you for that! I have thoroughly enjoyed looking at at your photos,I even noticed a Johnny Rutherford photo that was taken at my local track back in the mid 70"s! that was a bit of a buzz to see that! In Australia, we used to have guys like Bob Tattersall come over with the latest Offy and end up selling the car, leaving it here! It didnt take long for us to have our speedway full of Offys! I see you have a couple of photos of Bob in the Honker2 on your photos that particular has been restored by an Aussie and he also owns the Stroud Offy Honker, Please have a look at my facebook page
    Please Keep in contact Terry

Mitch thanks for writing me back about my dad Skip Eggert. I think its great that some one still has all this old information, and that its not lost.could you please forward me any pics or info on my dad you have.Thank you very much. When the midgets were at cns 3 weeks ago, I took my mom on a date. It still gives me goose bumps watching the midgets fly around that track. Anyonr who say circle track racing is boring, has"nt been to a midget race. Mitch again thank you very much.

Thanks Rick, time does fly one more year of holding off the big five-oh!. Not retired, my wife is a office manager for a international law firm based in New York. She's been with the firm for over 15 years. They moved us to Jacksonville, FL 5 years ago, and at that point she managed Jacksonville, and Houston, so she travels a lot. Which means ..... I'm a stay at home dad, with a 9 year old son, and 13 year old daughter. Last year they moved us to Houston, and my wife ran the Jacksonville, Houston, and Austin offices. The firm is closing the small offices, Jacksonville, Austin, Charlotte, so in the near future she won't be traveling, and I will be able to become a productive citizen again! When her career started to take off, we made the agreement I'd stay home, it's worked out o.k.
Thanks again, keep up the good work, we need to see more of your recent works of art.
