My latest acquisition....
 

Bought this rare 1/4 scale R/C Phoenix Arrow Super Modified, from a collector in Corona California. Probably 25 years old.
Arrived in Sydney Australia on Monday. Cannot believe I actually own it. These cars are very rare ....even in the United States. I'll begin restoration this weekend.

Absolutely nothing! It's a goer, however I'm just going to look at it think WOW...it's mine!
I've cleaned it up, from years sitting around collecting dust and it's now on display in my house, with my other 1/4 scale cars. For the time being it will stay as is and not be restored. This is the way it came off the track at its last race meet, when the original owner Steve Packwood became ill and ceased racing in 1991.
These Supers are extremely rare. They were manufactured by Bill Burnstein and Gary Easter in Phoenix Arizona, back in the late 1980s. I've been told only 10 were ever produced. Amazingly, I've heard a whisper that there is another of these cars about 4 hours drive west from me, here in Sydney. 2 out of the 10 built, here in Australia......not bad!

Bob,

You could use another rack to display the others... Get them out to visually enjoy, the rack seems just right.
