I believe the years were 1951 and 1952. They were AAA Sanctioned Championship Car (Big Car to some) races, I think those were the only two years that AAA came to Denver.

Right, that is 1958. Jimmy Bryan was the winner. Jimmy won in the same car that Sam Hanks did the year before. Same also drove the 1958 Pontiac Bonneville pace car for the '58 500.
