Hello Chuck, yes Harold Mainard was injured in a crash at CNS. I think he got his bell rung pretty hard. I wasn't there that night and didn't see the crash but I remember him telling me about it...

Sometime during the summer of 1979 several Colorado sprint car regulars, myself included, towed up to Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City South Dakota. I can't recall all of the names of the drivers...
