I first saw these amazing photos many, many years ago.
John Rutherford at Eldora, April 1966.
What can one say except ...WHEW!!!!
I saw him race midgets about 4 years later, here in Sydney.

From Sydney Australia's Westmead Speedway.
A famous midget of the day was the #2 BERCO Holden. It was also famous for some amazing crashes.
