Just have to love those ol coupes and sedans, I remember we had so many cars at lakeside on one occasion, the pits were full, and cars were parked all the way around the outside of the pit enclosure,...

the only other coupe with the number 69 was red with white numbers that i can remember other tha Don Judish was Randy Richardson, he drove in mid 60's, maybe Roy Jackson can remember him?

the street the 63 is on is 32nd and umatilla just off Vallejo st where some great engines were built at custom grinders by Ed Smith in the flathead and in line 6 cylinder days, I got to learn a lot...

the black 11 that butch drove was not purchased by gary schafer, it was the other way around he bought the blue 63 from myself and turned it into the backwards 11 in winter of 1970.

The 20 was still maroon in 1970 and was sold to Darrell Carver after that season and become the 99 for 1 season, don't know where it went after that?
