The only thing Leroy changed from the original 1946 Lloyd Axel car, was the red frame. Lloyd had it painted silver all the time he owned the car, Leroy thought (during restoration) that the red would make for a more attractive contrast. Other than that, it is nearly a time machine back to 1946.
