Default Harry Conklin Sprint Car

This is the only photo I have of the Conklin Chevy Sprinter. It was a a light bluish-grey and it was number 64.
Jim Malloy is behind the wheel in this photo taken at El Centro in 1967.
I need some posed photos.

Leroy Byers is your your best bet, still has his house/shop on So. Cherokee st. in south Denver. Colorado's finest racing photographer from the era, not sure how to contact him, maybe another member has his phone #.

I have up-loaded 2 pictures of Harry's #64 Sprintcar on my Albums on this site. A quick story about the California trip, Eddie Jackson flew Harry and Jimmy Mulloy in his Airplane, and Foss and Bob Campbell had to tow the Racecar and Trailer thru the snow and barely got there in time! Hope you enjoy these pictures!
