Default USAC Hall of Fame induction and vintage cars

I was at Indianapolis Raceway -ark last Saturday for Champ dirt cars and USAC's Hall of Fame induction. They also had vintage cars on track. They inducted Foyt, Parnelli Jones, Mario, and Gary Bettenhausen, also Mel Kenyon, to name a few.

The highlight for me was Bettenhausen, who for once was at a loss for words. He couldn't believe he was in the first class with the guys he was. He choked up some and said he hoped his dad was looking down.

The champ car race was a ruaway by Bobby Santos. I put some photos here , but also have some at www.Racephoto1.com, under Silver Crown LORP.

And I heard no one was there to accept for Jimmy Bryan. Sad.
