I like it, it reminds me of an old Super Mod from Cheyenne from the late 60's or early 70's
that was owned by Willox. Bruce ![]() "Give pint's for half pints", I do |

I will give the guy credit for creativity, the rear "50's tail fins", and tail lights are funny, but that "rental go-kart", rear bumper is awful. It would make a decent dirt modified, like those old San Jose, supers from the early 80's, but not a sprint car.

I'm 65 years old so I'm a huge fan of traditional sprinters, not cars like I posted. Those supers, like the Sargents ran, in San Jose were big and ugly. All wings and a Great Gatsby tail. When they ran on pavement in San Jose the cars were cool looking. When Tully Rd. closed down and they went to the fairgrounds, car designs went crazy ( in my opinion)

.....well if I'm not mistaken its a little Ford Anglia....now I'm with you guys, but it does show a little imagination I suppose.....the kids back here in the UK go nuts for these cars, and they can command big bucks....

Saw Marshall Sargent on that very quick track and if I recall correctly, he had a monumental prang that night. Sargent raced in Australia for several years in the 'hot rods'. Didnt mind it hard and fast. The next day (Sunday) we all went to the Mile Showground track to see the 750cc Yamahas and Harley Davidson on the Mile Dirt. Kenny Roberts cleaned up that Sunday afternoon against the Scott Brothers. Mike |

Hi this car is a Super Modified that is raced in Auckland New Zealand. The body is indeed a Fibreglass replica of a Ford Anglia
