Gilmer 1/4 scale V8/60 - Auto Racing Memories

Renownded 1/4 scale midget builder Jan Gilmer of Minnesota, has recently finished another car. His latest is a static model and as a 1st, it has a V8/60 motor. All other static models came with an Offy motor.
This is the 127th car, albeit RC or static, Jan has built since 1986. Gilmer midgets are highly collectible today.

That is incredible, Bob. He even has some of the chrome on the header pipe turning Blue! What a craftsman.

I visited Jan Gilmer in Howard Lake Minnesota, in 2011 and watched him work in his shop. It's nothing special, yet he turns out these works of art. The man is an absolute craftsman.

You will need to talk to Jan Gilmer of Howard Lake Minnesota. I'll tell you now..."they aint cheap" and can vary on how you want the midget built.
