Nevada Super Modified
My daughter found this picture of one of the super modifieds I drove and owned back in 1975. This was in Sparks Nev. Fun stuff.

Here's my very frist one less the motor. You can tell the age by the Firestone tires. Same trailer and house. Those were the days.

Never a wing fan, but man I loved that era of super mod, the Englewood Speedway supers (Colorado) were very similar. Check out the ear busting hi-tech exhaust header system! Great looking super mod!

Good eye. I replaced that exhaust after a few races, It hurt even my ears when I got close to the wall, going down the straightaway. Back then I wore an open face helmet with a leather mask and goggles which probably made everything louder. All and all these were a blast on a 1/4 banked pavement track.
