"Tak's Toy" was a German Ford Taunus. It resembled a miniature '40 Ford tudor sedan. If I remember correctly it ran C/A and would pull the front wheels with every shift. It was bright orange. Tak bulit the engine in our #29.

Here's a few more I've dug up from the "Revolution".... (Voorhis collection) Chuck Tuffield #43 lifts two wheels in the East turn trying to catch Jack Voorhis #32 during 1968 Englewood action. (Van Gundy collection) Bill Van Gundy and clan from about 1972. (Chris Martinez collection) A great color pic from 1971 of Lucky Bieckman (left) and crew. That's Porky Swan #24 and Jim Noska in the Ivan Chamber's owned #175 in the background. (Jay Newton collection) Jay Newton picks up this win during the mid '60's. (Voorhis collection) Jack Voorhis thrills the crowd by rolling his Figure Eighter in front of the grandstands. |

Jerry Lee, I continue to be amazed at the number of F-8 cars/photos that you come up with. That was quite an era. Keep 'em coming!
