Here’s a couple pics I found of Ron and Dail Huff’s Modifieds from the ‘60’s.
(J.L. McGuire coll.) Ron Huff #165 battles Dick Bayles in the John Tadolini owned #14 during 1966 Modified action at Englewood Speedway. I wonder if it was a chore for Ron to climb in and out of those tiny windows, whereas Bayles has the luxury of exiting from the roof. (J.L. McGuire coll.) Ron Huff (right) and dad Dail (left) pose next to the Danny’s Village Enco #166 Modified during the 1969 season at Englewood. I seem to remember this car always being white with hot pink numbers, pen striped in pink and purple, and of course, sporting a Pete Brandenburg lettering job. The Huff’s always had some sharp looking Modifieds. |
