I'm guessing wrecks like that gave people the idea to put flagmen no the back straight. Yikes!!!

Wow Webby, I don't think they ever got that race started again,'cause I don't think there were any cars left to race!!! Those related video's are pretty cool also.~Olen

Glad you showed that webby. That's the 1951 Race of Champions on Langhorne Speedway's mile circle. It was later reconfigured into a "D" shape, I think. Anyone remember for sure? Anyway, that # X coupe was the eventual winner of that innaugural race.
